The Chester River Association's First Annual Pat Herold Nielsen Poetry Prize at The Bookplate, Cross Street, Chestertown, MD at 6PM on Friday, March 5, 2010

In Memory of Chester River Association's Board of Director, Pat Herold Nielsen, we are pleased to announce The First Annual Pat Herold Nielsen Poetry Prize. This event will be held at The Bookplate, Cross Street, Chestertown at 6PM on Friday, March 5, 2010. The Nielsen Prize is open to anyone residing in Kent or Queen Anne's Counties. Submissions should be postmarked by January 30, 2010 and mailed to Marcy Ramsey, 140 Bright Meadow Lane, Chestertown, MD 21620. Poems may be published or unpublished and no restrictions on style. Length should not exceed one page and subject matter should reflect some aspect of the Chester River or its environs. Submit up to 3 poems in typed manuscript. Include name, address, e-mail and phone number on a separate page. Do not include identifying information on poems. 1st Prize is $100 and a printed broadside of the winning poem in hand-set, letterpress, limited edition. $50 for runner-up.
